Metropol Parasol, Seville, Spain


 The Metropol Parasol (locally known as "Las Setas" or "The Mushrooms") is a massive wooden architectural structure located in the Plaza de la Encarnación in Seville, Spain. Designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in 2011, it features six parasol-like mushroom-shaped columns that span 150 meters in length and rise 28 meters high, making it one of the world's largest wooden structures. Built from bonded timber with a polyurethane coating, the structure provides shade for the plaza below while housing a market, an archaeological museum, restaurants, and an elevated panoramic walkway offering sweeping views of the city.
